Doyle Street Pool

The Doyle Street Pool is owned by the City of Toccoa. Camp Fire Georgia manages operations and programs of the facility in partnership with the City of Toccoa. The facility offers two beautiful pools; one is a zero-entry shallow pool, great for small children and new swimmers. The second pool starts at 4′ and slopes down to 5′ with a basketball goal for all to enjoy. There are a limited number of tables and chairs for everyone to enjoy, along with a small concession stand. Both men’s and women’s changing rooms with showers are also available. The Doyle Street Pool does not have lockers; personal items shall be taken to the pool deck. No outside food is permitted on the pool deck.

*Camp Fire Georgia is no longer overseeing operations for the paddle boats at Lake Toccoa.

2024 Doyle Street Pool Season:

May 25 – July 28

Monday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sundays from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
*Senior Swim on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

August 3 – September 2

Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

ADMISSION $3.00

The admission fee is charged for both swimmers and non-swimmers. All persons entering the facility must pay the admission.

General Operating Procedures:

Admission is $3 per person, including babies of all ages and those not swimming. 
No loitering or congregating will be allowed in or in front of the pool building.  
A maximum of 6 individuals will be allowed in each locker room at a time. 
Please help us by minimizing your time inside the building. Come to the pool dressed and ready to swim.
Rain checks or refunds will NOT be given. You are responsible for checking weather.
No outside food or drinks. 
Guests are not permitted to move furniture on the pool deck. 
Swim diapers are required for children less than 2 years of age or who are not potty trained and will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

Private Parties

View Doyle Street Pool Calendar for Availability:

Private parties are held Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed for parties. Lifeguards are included in all private party reservations.

Private parties are $300.00. The interior foyer of the clubhouse can also be rented for an additional $50.00. A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required for booking. The remaining balance is due in full by the date of your party, and can be paid either online or in-person.

Parties will be held rain or shine! No cancellations due to light rain. Any cancellations will be at the discretion of Camp Fire Staff, who will contact the host if a party needs to be cancelled due to severe weather. Cancellations done by staff will be rescheduled for another date.

Season Passes are non-refundable.
Season Pass includes access to Doyle Street Pool for up to 6 individuals named on the pass. You must list the first and last names that you want to appear on your pass in the “Add a note for the seller” field during your checkout. Only the names listed on the pass will be allowed entrance. No additional names can be added after the pass is printed.
Season Pass does not include discounts on pool parties, swim lessons, concessions, etc.
Season Pass holders will not be granted early access.
Season Pass holders must abide by all pool guidelines (see below).

Swim Lessons

Group Swim Lessons are available at Doyle Street Pool for ages 4 and up. 2024 Swim Lesson sessions will be held the weeks of June 3-6, June 10-13, and June 24-27. Classes meet daily Monday-Thursday from 10-10:45 am or 11-11:45 am. A session is 4 days for 45 minutes.

Employment

At this time, Camp Toccoa is fully staffed for the 2024 Summer Season. Please check back for employment opportunities for upcoming seasons.

Doyle Street Pool Lifeguard Position Description –  Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Must be American Red Cross lifeguard certified. Minimum age is 15.
